August gave us an opportunity to pause, recognise and celebrate the incredible women who form part of Pupkewitz Megabuild.

On Friday, 21 August 2026, our teams across the country came together for a special Women’s Day celebration under the message “She Is.” It was a simple reminder of the many things our women are capable, strong, vibrant, worthy, enough, important and powerful contributors to the business we continue to build together.

Every day, women across Pupkewitz Megabuild contribute their knowledge, leadership, service, resilience, creativity and care to our business. They serve our customers, support our teams, lead people, solve problems and help build the organisation we are proud to be part of.

A Small Surprise, With a Big Message

To make the celebration a little more special, each of our female employees received a Women’s Day appreciation pack prepared especially for the occasion.

Inside was a collection of small keepsakes, each carrying the message of appreciation behind the day. But the celebration was about more than the gifts. At the heart of it was a reminder that recognition can also come through our words.

Because Sometimes, She Needs to Hear It

Pink appreciation notes were made available, inviting colleagues to write something another woman at Megabuild deserved to hear.

A strength they saw in her. Something they appreciated about her. Something she had done that made a difference. Or simply a reminder of how amazing she is.

It was a small activity with a meaningful purpose: sometimes, she needs to hear what you see in her.

The notes gave our women an opportunity not only to be celebrated, but to celebrate one another, strengthening the sense of appreciation, connection and encouragement across our teams.

Celebrated Across Megabuild

One of the most special parts of the celebration was seeing it come to life across our business.

From Branch Support to our branches across Namibia, our ladies added a touch of pink to their outfits and made the day their own.

Our branch teams shared photographs throughout the morning, capturing women from different parts of the country celebrating together. Female support staff were also included in the appreciation, ensuring that the spirit of the day extended to the women who support our teams behind the scenes.
