Exceptional service is often found in the everyday moments; a colleague who goes the extra mile for a customer, someone who steps in to support a team, or a person whose commitment makes the work of those around them easier.

Through the Pupkewitz Group's Service Excellence: Recognise It. Nominate. Celebrate. campaign, employees across the Group were invited to shine a light on colleagues who consistently make that difference.

The initiative gave employees an opportunity to nominate colleagues in two categories: Customer Service Impact Champion and Support Service Impact Champion, celebrating service excellence both at the frontline and behind the scenes.

Recognising the People Behind the Service

Pictured above are the nominees for Customer Service Excellence and Support Service Excellence from across our Megabuild teams, recognised for their dedication, outstanding service, and commitment to excellence.

Service excellence is not defined by a job title or where someone works. It is reflected in how we show up, how we respond when challenges arise and the impact, we leave on customers and colleagues.

Megabuilders were therefore encouraged to look beyond simply submitting a name and share the story behind their nomination - what their colleague had done, the challenges they had overcome and the difference their actions had made.

The response reflected just how many of our people are making an impact every day with over 100 nominations received for both categories.

Importantly, every nominee was recognised with a certificate, ensuring that the campaign celebrated not only the eventual winners, but every employee whose contribution had been noticed and appreciated by a colleague.

Celebrating Our Champions

Pictured above is Martin Schoeman, the Managing Director of Pupkewitz Megabuild with the two Service Excellence Champions, Jeremiah and Lynnlee.

Following nominations from across the Group, two MegaBuilders emerged as the overall Service Excellence Champions.

Jeremiah Mandume, Branch Manager at Pupkewitz MegaBuild Okahao, was named Customer Service Impact Champion, receiving the most votes in the customer service category.

Lynnlee Rodrigues, Marketing Manager at the MegaBuild Branch Support Office, was named Support Service Impact Champion, receiving the most votes in the support service category.

Both were recognised at the Pupkewitz Group Service Excellence Awards Evening and received prizes in celebration of their achievement.

Their recognition is not only a celebration of two individuals. It reflects the impact that can be created when people choose, in their different roles, to serve with commitment, care and purpose.

Making Our Values Visible

The Service Excellence campaign was ultimately about more than awards. It was about noticing the people around us.

Every nomination represented a colleague saying, “I see what you do, and it makes a difference.”

It also reminded us that exceptional customer service is made possible by exceptional support. Whether serving a customer directly, leading a branch, supporting teams from an office or enabling others to perform at their best, every role contributes to the experience we create as Pupkewitz Megabuild.

As we celebrate Jeremiah, Lynnlee and all 117 nominations received across the two categories, we celebrate people who are making our values visible through their everyday actions.
