HOLIDAY WIN 2019 COMPETITION

TERMS & CONDITIONS

22 November - 24 December 2019

The promoter of this competition is M Pupkewitz & Sons (Pty) Ltd t/a Pupkewitz Megabuild and t/a Builders Warehouse hereafter referred to as Pupkewitz.

This competition is open to all Namibian citizens, except employees of Pupkewitz Megabuild and Builders Warehouse, their spouse and dependents and advertising agencies. The competition runs from 22 November 2019 to 24 December 2019 and no entries will be accepted after that date. During this period (22 November 2019 to 24 December 2019) customers can buy anything at any Pupkewitz Megabuild branch and take part in the competition. Customers enter the competition by SMS “HOLIDAY + YOUR NAME + TOWN” to 33555.  Each SMS costs N$1.00.  One invoice equals one entry.

To qualify for the prize, customers must have the invoice as proof of purchase. Pupkewitz will contact Finalists and request to verify their entry by presenting the invoice as proof of purchase. Failing to submit the proof of purchase until 14:00 on the day, will result that finalist will not stand a chance to win the voucher for the day.

 Entrants can enter as many times as they wish, provided a qualifying Cash Invoice or Advice Note is used for each entry into the competition.  The original proof of purchase (Cash Invoice or Advice Note) must be kept and must be presented as proof to qualify for the prize. The winner must also present a valid identification document. 

All winners are determined by a process of lucky draw and will be verified to comply with the Terms and Conditions by an internal auditor.

The winner will be notified telephonically and announced once the winner has submitted proof of purchase, i.e. the invoice.  Winners will receive a Pupkewitz Megabuild voucher or a Jungle Gym.  There are 20 x N$ 10,000.00 Pupkewitz Megabuild Gift Vouchers available to the total value of N$ 200,000.00. The main prize will be a Jungle Gym to the value of N$10,995.00. The Jungle Gym will be drawn on the 24 December 2019 as the final prize. The prizes cannot be exchanged for cash.  The prize is not transferrable.  Winners will be requested to sign an acknowledgement of receipt of the prize. Winners will be allowed to win once in this competition, to provide a fair chance to all participants. 

All entrants to this promotional competition participate entirely at their own risk.  By reading and accepting these terms and conditions the entrant gives consent to these risks and hereby indemnifies and holds harmless Pupkewitz and all entities in the Pupkewitz Group, their directors, employees and agents of any and all liability pertaining to any damage, cost, injuries and losses of whatever nature sustained as a result of their participation in the competition and related events and activities, save where such damage, cost, injuries and losses are sustained as a result of the gross negligence or willful misconduct of any indemnified party.

Pupkewitz reserves the right to disqualify any customer from participation in this competition in light of any malpractice or manipulation or abuse that Pupkewitz believes to have taken place.  In the event of a dispute, the decision of the Auditor shall be final and binding and Pupkewitz will not entertain any further correspondence in this regard.

By entering this competition, entrants give Pupkewitz permission to contact them regarding the development of the competition and future promotions.  All participants agree and authorize Pupkewitz – for the purposes of this competition – to be identified, announced as winners, have their names, images or photographs taken and published in the media which shall include print, television, press and internet (at no additional cost to Pupkewitz).  Failing to agree will result in such participant forfeiting the prize to the next alternate winner.

If required, Pupkewitz shall have the right to terminate this competition immediately and without notice and /or to amend or alter the relevant prizes.  In the event of such termination, all entrants agree to waive any rights that they have in terms of this competition and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against Pupkewitz, their agents and promoters. Pupkewitz cannot be held liable for personal damages or expenses.  

Pupkewitz shall be indemnified against any technical errors beyond its reasonable control.
