TERMS & CONDITIONS
22 April - 30 June 2022
The promoter of this competition is M. Pupkewitz & Sons (Pty) Ltd t/a Pupkewitz Megabuild and t/a Builders Warehouse hereafter referred to as Megabuild.
This competition is open to all Namibian citizens and residents, except employees of Pupkewitz Megabuild and Builders Warehouse, their spouse and dependents, staff members from advertising agencies and Independent Auditors. Participants must be 18 years and older.
The competition runs from 22 April 2022 and ends 30 June 2022 or while scratch cards last, should this be before 30 June 2022. No scratch cards will be awarded after that date.
To qualify for the prize, customers must have a valid identification document stating they are a Namibian citizen or residents. Proof of identification must be presented. Megabuild will not take responsibility or be held liable for the validity of the winner’s identity.
Scratch Cards are instant and will only be issued when:
1. Cash promotion only. Visa and Master cards as well as Megabuild Gift Cards qualify as cash. No account payments qualify for a scratch card.
2. Customers spends N$ 800 (Eight Hundred Namibian Dollars) cash or more at Pupkewitz Megabuild or Builders Warehouse Store.
3. Only one (1) scratch card per invoice will be issued.
a. For example, should the customer spend N$ 1,900 for one (1) invoice, then only one (1) scratch card will be issued.
4. Customers are physically and personally in the store. No telephone or email orders will qualify for scratch cards.
5. Customers who physically pays over the cash will be receive the scratch card. This person will also receive the prize if won. Megabuild cannot be held liable ff the customer was buying cash on behalf of another person/ company.
6. Customer needs to pay at Cash / Till Counters only as only Cash Till counters can issue scratch cards.
7. Scratch Cards will only be issued on following proof of purchase documents: Cash Tax Invoice or Cash Advance Receipt.
8. Customers need to scratch the cards immediately at the till points as received.
9. No scratch cards will be issued with a sale document that is older than 30 minutes or was issued on different date.
a. For example, if a customer presents and proof of purchase document at 11:00 but the transaction was competed at 10:00, it will be concluded that the customers already received an instant scratch card at the till at 10:00. Thus, the customer will not receive a second scratch card.
10. No winning scratch cards will be accepted with a purchase document that is older than 30 minutes or was issued on different date.
11. The Scratch card will have one of two messages:
a. First (1) message will be: Better Luck next time. With this scratch card the customers have won nothing and can try again with the next purchase of at least N$ 800 at Megabuild.
b. The second (2) message will inform the customer of the winning. The customer needs to remain instore, complete winning documents to ensure his / her prizes will be handed over.
12. Winners of scratch cards are immediately reported by the cashier to person on duty (Admin Supervisor or Branch Manager).
13. Winners need to complete the Winner Registration Form and provide any legal form of identification.
14. The Megabuild Store will keep the original scratch card with a copy of proof of purchase, Winner Registration Form and copy of identification.
15. Megabuild Gift Cards: On receipt of identification, the branch Store will issue the Megabuild Gift Card, credited with the winning amount. The customer needs to sign the gift card receipt form receipt from.
16. Cash Prize below N$50,000: On receipt of identification of identification and completion on winner registration, the store will hand over the cash to the customer. The customer needs to sign the cash receipt from.
17. N$ 50,000 (Fifty Thousand Namibian Dollar) Cash Prize Winner: The winner must complete the bank account details on the winner registration form. This cash prizes will be paid with an EFT directly to the bank account details provided by the winner.
a. The winner will have five working days to submit banking details.
b. The winner must submit Bank confirmation Letter
c. The winner must open a bank account if the winner does not have a Bank Account.
d. Pupkewitz Megabuild will have five working days to submit Proof of Payment after receiving provided banking details by the winner.
18. Megabuild will keep all documents on file as proof for at least 3 years.
19. Megabuild will take hand-over photos of winners and communicate these on media platforms to ensure transparency of winners.

Additionally, all customers who have spent N$800(eight hundred Namibian Dollars) or more cash and or on account at Pupkewitz Megabuild and Builders Warehouse, can enter the SMS competition to stand a chance to win N$50,000 cash.

1. Customer who purchased N$800 and at Pupkewitz Megabuild or Builders Warehouse can enter the SMS lucky draw during the competition period ending 30 June 2022.
2. SMS: WIN + TOWN OF PURCHASE + YOUR NAME + INVOICE NUMBER to 33555. Each SMS costs N$1.00. One invoice equals one entry.
3. Invoice number is the document number from Cash Tax Invoice or Cash Advance Receipt or Advice Note.
4. Customer do not need to be physically instore to enter the lucky draw. Email and telephone orders can be included.
5. Entrants can enter as many times as they wish, provided a qualifying Cash Invoice or Advice Note is used for each entry into the competition. The original proof of purchase (Cash Invoice or Advice Note) must be kept and must be presented as proof to qualify for the prize.
6. The winner is determined by a process of a random electronic lucky draw and will be verified to comply with the Terms and Conditions by the independent Auditor.
7. The winner will be notified telephonically and announced by latest on 8 July 2022.
8. The winner will win N$50,000 cash.

10. Should the winner be a Megabuild account customer, then the prize money will be paid to the account holder, who is responsible to pay the Megabuild.
a. The prize money will not be awarded to the staff member of a company account that used the company account invoice to enter the competition.
11. Megabuild will keep all documents on file as proof for at least 3 years.
12. Megabuild will take hand-over photos of winners and communicate these on media platforms to ensure transparency of winners.

Winners will be requested to sign an acknowledgement of receipt of the prize.
All entrants to this promotional competition participate entirely at their own risk. By reading and accepting these terms and conditions the entrant gives consent to these risks and hereby indemnifies and holds harmless Megabuild and all entities in the Pupkewitz Group; their directors, employees and agents of any and all liability pertaining to any damage, cost, injuries and losses of whatever nature sustained as a result of their participation in the competition and related events and activities, save where such damage, cost, injuries and losses are sustained as a result of the gross negligence or willful misconduct of any indemnified party.
Megabuild reserves the right to disqualify any customer from participation in this Competition considering any malpractice or manipulation or abuse that Megabuild believes to have taken place.
In the event of a dispute, the decision of the Auditor shall be final and binding and Megabuild will not entertain any further correspondence in this regard.
By entering this competition, entrants give Megabuild permission to contact them regarding future promotions. All participants agree and authorize Megabuild – for the purposes of this Competition – to be identified, announced as winners, have their names, images or photographs taken and published in the media which shall include print, television, press and internet (at no additional cost to Megabuild). Failing to agree will result in such participant forfeiting the prize to the next alternate winner.
If required, Megabuild shall have the right to terminate this competition immediately and without notice. In the event of such termination, all entrants agree to waive any rights that they have in terms of this competition and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against Megabuild, their agents and promoters. Megabuild reserves the right to replace any prize with a prize of equivalent value at any time.
Megabuild shall be indemnified against any technical errors beyond its reasonable control.
