Megabuild Win a Trailer Campaign – Terms and Conditions

01 December 2023 – 13 January 2024

The promoter of this competition is M. Pupkewitz & Sons (Pty) Ltd t/a Pupkewitz Megabuild and t/a Builders Warehouse hereafter referred to as Megabuild. This competition is open to all Namibian citizens and residents, except employees of Pupkewitz Megabuild and Builders Warehouse, their spouse and dependents, staff members from advertising agencies and Independent Auditors. Participants must be 18 years and older.

How to Enter:

To enter, participants must make a qualifying purchase of $900 or more at specified Pupkewitz Megabuild branches including Rundu, Katima, Otjiwarongo, Okahao, Ondangwa, Oshakati, Ongwediva, and Outapi. Each eligible purchase will count as one entry into the Win a Trailer campaign. Entrants can join by sending an SMS with the message: “TRAILER, YOUR NAME AND INVOICE NUMBER” to 33555. Participants must retain their till slip or invoice as proof of purchase. Each qualifying purchase equals one entry, with an SMS entry cost of N$1.00 per SMS sent.

Campaign Period:

The campaign runs from 1st December 2023 to 13th January 2024 (6 weeks). The announcement of the cattle trailer winners will take place on Omalunga Radio on the 26th of January 2024.

Prize Details and Winner Selection:

The grand prize are 2 Cattle Trailers valued at N$68,000 each. 2 Winners will be selected for the grand prize. Additionally, 6 x N$5,000 Megabuild Gift Cards = Total of N$ 30,000. The Gift cards will given away weekly. 1st Draw Date: 11 December 2023 | 2nd Draw Date: 18 December 2023 | 3rd Draw Date: 27 December 2023 | 4th Draw Date: 02 January 2024 | 5th Draw Date: 08 January 2024 | 6th and final Draw Date including the 2 x trailer winners: 15 January 2024.

The winner will be randomly selected from eligible entries received during the campaign period. They will be notified via email & phone within 14 days after the campaign end date. In case the selected winner does not respond within 10 days of the notification, an alternate winner may be chosen.

The winner is responsible for any transportation, delivery, collection, or associated costs related to claiming and receiving the prize. The winner of the cattle trailer is responsible for registration and cost of registration.

Winners will be requested to sign an acknowledgement of receipt of the prize.

All entrants to this promotional competition participate entirely at their own risk. By reading and accepting these terms and conditions the entrant gives consent to these risks and hereby indemnifies and holds harmless Megabuild and all entities in the Pupkewitz Group; their directors, employees and agents of any and all liability pertaining to any damage, cost, injuries and losses of whatever nature sustained as a result of their participation in the competition and related events and activities, save where such damage, cost, injuries and losses are sustained as a result of the gross negligence or willful misconduct of any indemnified party.

Megabuild reserves the right to disqualify any customer from participation in this Competition considering any malpractice or manipulation or abuse that Megabuild believes to have taken place.

In the event of a dispute, the decision of the Auditor shall be final and binding and Megabuild will not entertain any further correspondence in this regard.

By entering this competition, entrants give Megabuild permission to contact them regarding future promotions. All participants agree and authorize Megabuild – for the purposes of this Competition – to be identified, announced as winners, have their names, images or photographs taken and published in the media which shall include print, television, press and internet (at no additional cost to Megabuild). Failing to agree will result in such participant forfeiting the prize to the next alternate winner.

If required, Megabuild shall have the right to terminate this competition immediately and without notice. In the event of such termination, all entrants agree to waive any rights that they have in terms of this competition and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against Megabuild, their agents and promoters. Megabuild reserves the right to replace any prize with a prize of equivalent value at any time.

Megabuild shall be indemnified against any technical errors beyond its reasonable control.

Entrants agree to abide by these terms and conditions by participating in the Megabuild Win a Trailer campaign.
